Cumberlands teams sweep CU in regular-season finale

Cumberlands runs away with 79-60 win over Lady Tigers
The Lady Tigers started slow and never really gained any traction, losing 79-60 to No. 8-ranked University of the Cumberlands on Saturday.
Committing 10 first-half turnovers to only four by UC, Campbellsville dug itself a hole and Lauren Wombles was happy to throw dirt in on top of it. Wombles scored 16 first-half points to lead the Lady Patriots (25-3, 14-2) to their 33-24 lead.
