Campbellsville University Residence Life will partner with the Exodus Cry, an anti-trafficking organization, on Tuesday, April 17, at 7 p.m. in Ransdell Chapel.
The event is free and open to the public.
A documentary entitled "Nefarious: Merchant of Souls" has been developed by Exodus Cry to expose and raise awareness of modern-day slavery and human trafficking. The documentary will be shown during the event.
Because of the harsh reality of human trafficking, the documentary is only viewable for those age 18 and older.
Twenty-seven million men, women and children are affected by modern-day slavery. Residence Life officials say they hope the event will "flood the darkness of modern-day slavery with the light and hope of Jesus Christ."
