CU hosts annual juried student art show

Campbellsville University will display entries in the annual juried student art show through Wednesday, April 30.

The entries will be on display at the Pence-Chowning Art Gallery. Entry is free.

Works of painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, sculpture, graphic design and other media will be on display.

The juror for the competition was professional artist Page Candler.

In the ceramics category, Katelyn Roby of Campbellsville took first with "Companion Cups." Austin Merritt of Campbellsville won third place with "Phoenix Rising."

In graphic design, Christian Malcomson of Campbellsville got second place for "Harmony."

The Pence-Chowning Art Gallery is open on Mondays from 9 to 11 a.m. and noon to 6 p.m., on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesdays from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 6 p.m.
