CU graduation ceremonies are Dec. 13

Nearly 200 set to receive degrees

Campbellsville University will have two commencement ceremonies on Friday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., in Ransdell Chapel, when 196 graduates will receive diplomas.

The 2 p.m. commencement ceremony will be for the bachelor of science and bachelor of science in business administration graduate candidates, and the 4 p.m. ceremony will be for all associate, bachelor of arts, bachelor of music, bachelor of science in nursing, bachelor of social work and all master degree candidates.

The Rev. Joel Carwile, pastor of Valley View Church in Louisville, will receive an honorary doctorate of divinity at the 2 p.m. ceremony, and the Rev. John Chowning, vice president for church and external relations and executive assistant to the president, who also pastors Saloma Baptist Church, will receive an honorary doctorate of public service degree at the 4 p.m. ceremony.
