Campbellsville University's Tigers, playing some of their best basketball of the season, dismantled St. Catharine College and came away with its fourth straight win 71-58 Saturday in Springfield.
The Tigers, who hit 5-7 on three-pointers in the first half while the Patriots (0-17) were shooting blanks, burst out to a 37-17 lead at the half.
SCC closed to within 39-26 two and a half minutes into the second half, but CU responded with a 10-3 run of its own, punctuated by a fall-away three by Cedric Henderson as the shot clock was winding down.
