Campbellsville University's TV-4, WLCU, will feature interviews with the candidates for state representative in the 51st District.

John Chowning, host of TV-4's "Dialogue on Public Issues" program, has interviewed the three Republican candidates for the seat now occupied by State Rep. Russ Mobley, R-Campbellsville, who will not seek re-election. Chowning has also interviewed Doug Mullins, the Democratic Party nominee for the fall general election.

Chowning said, "Dialogue on Public Issues is a program that seeks to provide information on current topics to our viewers. We wanted to let the public know how the candidates felt on the issues and thought this would be a great way to do that.

"We hope you will watch the program in order to become familiar with the issues and the candidates' stances on those issues."

The Republican candidates interviewed are Russell Montgomery, John "Bam" Carney and Asa James Swan.
