Amory Elizabeth Cox and Trevor Stanley Scott of Lexington were married on Sept. 22. Billy Gregory performed the ceremony, which was at Campbellsville University's Ransdell Chapel.
Cox is the daughter of Dr. Ben and Regina Cox of Campbellsville. Her grandparents are Dorothy Bradford of Gadsden, Ala., and the late Thomas and Elender Cox and Lavear Bradford Sr.
She is a pharmacist at Vanderbilt University Hospital.
Scott is the son of Stan and Donna Scott of Owensboro. He is the grandson of Ruth Scott of Morgantown, Renie Bieber of Radcliff and the late Stanley Scott and Melvin Bieber.
He is employed at U.S. Bank.
Decorations included palms and Boston ferns, as well as urns containing English pedestal arrangements of white roses and hydrangeas accented with greenery.
The bride wore a strapless Watters gown of ivory lace over washed silk organza. A sash of silk ribbon, swarovsky crystals and pearls adorned the waist. She carried a bouquet featuring coral tipped roses, white roses and white and pink hydrangeas tied with a French satin ribbon.
Jennifer Edlin of Louisville was the matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Besty Cooper of Nashville, Tenn., Dr. Jillian Nyquist, Maria Blazejewski and Laura Brown Hollenbach, all of Lexington, Margaret Bailey and Heather Bilyue of Louisville, Ashley Barret of Fort Worth, Texas and Danielle Williams Smith of Campbellsville. They wore strapless, knee-length silk dresses in two shades of coral.
Avery Tucker of Campbellsville, the bride's cousin, was the flower girl.
Nathan Janson of Lexington was the best man.
Groomsmen were Justin Scott of Orlando, Fla., the groom's brother, Grant Todd, Blake Warren, Chris Sampley and Brown Backstrom, all of Owensboro, Rod Erfani and Bryan Kennedy of Lexington and Obbie Todd of Louisville.
Nolan Crowe of Gamaliel, Ky., the groom's cousin, was the ring bearer.
Ushers were Grant Cox and Taylor Cox, the bride's brothers, T.J. Daugherty and Hampton Beaumont Bourne. Morgan Rose attended the guestbook.
Musicians included Suellen Shaw, Bill Douglas, Gail Godsey, Rodney Booe, Taylor Cox, Grant Cox and Seth Johnson. Vocalists were Katie Feola and Darian Sanders of Lexington.
Several friends from Campbellsville Christian Church served communion to the wedding party and guests as a part of the Christ-centered ceremony.
A reception followed under a tent on the chapel lawn.
After a honeymoon in the Dominican Republic, the couple will make their home in Nashville.
Prenuptial events included bridal showers at Sheila Douglas' home in Campbellsville and at Campbellsville Christian Church.
