Taylor County broke away from an 8-8 tie and posted an easy 75-45 district victory against visiting cross-town rival Campbellsville on Tuesday night.
"I'm glad to get the good win," Cards' head coach Troy Young said. "But, the score is very deceiving. And, that sort of worries me the next time we play them."
Chase Cox (12) and Josh Gumm (11) combined for 23 first-half points and the Cardinals led 37-16 at the intermission.
