Court can't decide on incinerator

After discussing the issue at three meetings, magistrates still haven’t decided whether the county should buy a new incinerator or repair the current one at the Taylor County Animal Shelter.

Instead, magistrates have agreed to contract with a local company to incinerate the Taylor County Animal Shelter’s dead animals until a decision can be made. At Tuesday night’s regular Taylor County Fiscal Court meeting, representatives from two companies spoke to magistrates about incinerators.
