Taxpayers will pay just a hair more this year in county property tax bills.
Magistrates set this year's tax rates during a special meeting Wednesday morning.
Though they chose the compensating tax rate, which is a rate set to generate the same amount of money as last year, the real property rate increased slightly from 7.7 to 7.9 cents per $100 of assessed value. The rate of 9 cents for personal property remained the same.
The rates are expected to generate $920,090 in revenue.
