An area along Chaney Pike Road will get repaired thanks to state transportation funds.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced that $15,200 in emergency road aid has been awarded to Taylor County Fiscal Court for the repairs.
County road crews will make the repairs.
"These emergency funds are being used to improve safety and mobility in Taylor County," Transportation Secretary Joe Prather stated in a press release. "This project is an example of the Cabinet's commitment to provide a solid infrastructure across the commonwealth."
