He measures the flour ever so carefully. After breaking some eggs, measuring some salt, butter and sugar and mixing the concoction together, it's ready for the food processor.

He watches in amazement as the ingredients eventually turn into a ball of dough, which will soon become a homemade pie crust.

Expanded Foods & Nutrition Program Assistant Angie Freeman from the Taylor County Extension Office hosted a family cooking class at the Taylor County Public Library last Thursday.

The next class will be Thursday, Jan. 9, at 5 p.m.
