U.S. Rep. Ron Lewis will be at Campbellsville University tomorrow at 1:30 to announce that he will be placing his official congressional papers at CU.

Having Lewis' congressional papers at CU means that the official records of his tenure in the U.S. House of Representatives will be permanently retained as a collection at Campbellsville University and made available for future review and research.

The papers of such long-serving officials is a valued addition to a university library and archives.

The announcement will be made at the Winters Dining Hall on the CU campus.

Lewis, who lives in Cecilia, has represented Kentucky's Second District since being sworn in to Congress on May 26, 1994. He will retire on Dec. 31.
