Coaches' all-region hoop teams announced

Makayla Epps and two of her teammates from the 30-0 Marion County Lady Knights lead the way on the Coaches’ All-Fifth Region Basketball Team released on Monday.
Epps is joined by Kyvin Goodin-Rogers and Logan Powell. Other area players on the squad are Adair County seniors Mercedes Cox and Katie Keltner; Kayla Bale and Rachel Marr from Green County; and LaRue County underclassmen Alexis Brewer and Ivy Brown.
Epps is the Region Player of the Year while Marion County’s Trent Milby repeats as Coach of the Year.
A pair of seniors, Kelton Ford of LaRue County and John Hardin’s Brandon Price share the boys’ Fifth Region Player of the Year for the 2012-13 campaign.
Also, on the squad are Taylor County’s 1-2 punch of Quentin Goodin and Caleb Wigginton and junior Latrelle Irvin of Marion County.
The Co-Coaches of the Year are Campbellsville’s Tim Davis and Mark Wells of defending region champion John Hardin.
