Three Campbellsville Middle School students were recently selected as state winners in the Martin Luther King Jr. Essay and Visual Arts Contest.
Students submitted an essay or artwork that reflected their most inspired King moment or speech in concert with the theme stating how he or she is using that inspiration to shape their lives and communities.
A total of 1,200 entries were received. Two students were chosen as state first place winners while another received second place accolades.
