CMS to have Red Ribbon Week activities

Campbellsville Middle School will celebrate Red Ribbon Week with many activities planned for Oct. 29 to Nov. 2.

Monday is Wear Red Day and students are encouraged to wear as many red clothing items as possible. Red ribbons and bracelets will be passed out and students will see a video about smoking.

Tuesday is Be a Hero - Help, Encourage and Respect Others Day, and students are encouraged to wear camouflage clothing items.

Wednesday is I'm Too Smart to Start Day, and students are asked to wear nerd clothes. Don't be a Dum Dum when it comes to drugs suckers will be handed out.

Thursday is Sock it to Drugs Day, and students should wear crazy socks. Get a grip on drugs pencil grippers will be handed out.

Friday is Stay in the Game, Play Drug Free Day, and students are asked to wear purple and gold.

Red "catch ya" coins will be randomly given out to students wearing their red ribbon/bracelet after Monday. Coins can be turned in for a prize.

There should be no painted faces, colored hair or hats worn during Red Ribbon Week.
