Eagles blank Boyle 14-0 in Kick-ff Bowl

By Bobby Brockman

Campbellsville Middle School opened its football season with a 14-0 shut-out over visiting Boyle County on Saturday in the Kick-off Bowl on Dave Fryrear Field.
The Eagles took a 6-0 lead on Stone Williams’ 28-yard touchdown run up the middle.
Micah Corley made it 12-0 on a four-yard score with Devonte Cubit completing the two-point conversion pass to Corley. Huge gains by Arick Groves and Austyn Thornton set up the CMS scores.
The swarming Eagle defense allowed only one first down to Boyle County and 30 yards of offense.
