CMS academic team wins second place award

Campbellsville Middle School's sixth-grade academic team competed in a showcase at Metcalfe County Middle School on Dec. 1 and won 10 medals, a second-place finish in quick recall and won second place overall.

Medaling were Myles Murrell, fifth place in math; Glenn Lamer, fourth in math; Casey Hardin, fifth in science and social studies; Elizabeth Sullivan, second in social studies and written composition; Jeremiah Jackson, fourth in arts and humanities and first in written composition; Payton Reynolds, fifth in written composition; Randy Harris, second in arts and humanities; and Quentin Skaggs competed on the quick recall team.
