Before deciding whether to accept a donation of the property, the City of Campbellsville will have an environmental study performed on the former Flav-O-Rich building.
The company wants to give the City its building at the corner of Third and Court streets. The building has been vacant for about 15 years.
However, before accepting the donation, Council members voted Monday night to move ahead with an environmental study first.
According to City Attorney John Bertram, Flav-O-Rich officials say there is some asbestos in the building.
