Campbellsville Independent students will be in school on Presidents Day - Monday, Feb. 21.

Campbellsville Independent School Board met in special session at noon Monday to address calendar concerns.

The school district has so far missed seven days for bad weather.

On Monday, the Board agreed to change the Feb. 21 holiday to a regular school day and change Primary Election Day - Tuesday, May 17 - to a teacher workday.

As of now, May 24 will be students' last day.

However, as Jeff Richardson, the district's pupil personnel director, said at last week's Board meeting, there are still several months of winter weather to come.

In addition to one day already made up, which was Friday, Jan. 28, the other five make-up days are Friday, Feb. 18, Monday, Feb. 21, Friday, March 25, Monday, May 23 and Tuesday, May 24.
