Church of God to host Campbellsville native

Gwin Young Minter, a native of Campbellsville, will be the guest speaker at a Church of God event in Campbellsville tomorrow at 7 p.m.

Minter is a registered nurse, motivational speaker, educator and the owner of Get Motivated with Gwin Inc. She is a 1979 graduate of Taylor County High School. She lives in Lexington with her husband and family.

She has lectured to numerous audiences in various venues and on versatile topics all across the state of Kentucky and nationally.

Minter has completed her first book inspired by her motto, "See It, Believe It, Do It," which will be accompanied by an audio version on CD expected in 2009. Her passion is being able to encourage and motivate others for change in order to visualize the gift inside of everyone and use it to be a blessing to others.

Pastor Delmetria Cayson-Combs and Fannie Chapel CME Methodist Church will host the service.

The event is also sponsored by the W.O.P. (Women of Prayer) group at Church of God. Everyone is invited to attend.
