Nineteen Campbellsville High School Student Technology Leadership students recently returned from state competition at the University of Kentucky, with two named state champions.

Emily Haley competed in the electronic publishing category, and her products were selected as the best entries in the state. She won first place for college and career readiness cards and second place for the 2014 Distinguished Young Woman program book. Abigail Heineman also worked on the program in last year's STLP class and Haley completed it for this year's program.

Charlie Miller competed in the Enterasys extreme networking category. He studied networking topics to prepare for the exam given by the Enterasys network engineers. Miller's score was the highest in the state.

CHS STLP sponsor is Sonya Kessler, along with Virgil Parker, district CIO, and Gamini Sooriyaarachchi, district technician.
