It took the Campbellsville High School Eagles a quarter or so to get going Friday night in Paris, but once the purple and gold got rolling, it was all over.
The Eagle defense led the charge, holding the Greyhounds to only two first downs on the night. It also accounted for one of the teams five CHS touchdowns.
Eagle senior Alex Brunelle, who started the game at quarterback, scored early in the second quarter on a 51-yard run. The extra point was missed, leaving the Eagles with a 6-0 early advantage.
