Campbellsville High School received a total team effort in Friday night’s 37-0 road win at Fort Knox to round out regular-season play.
The Eagles (4-6 with three straight victories) needed less than 90 seconds to crack the scoring column as sophomore tailback Eric Lamer scampered 39 yards to fire the game’s opening salvo during the light rain and wet conditions.
The Eagle defense would get in on the action late in the first quarter when Fort Knox mishandled a punt attempt leading to a CHS safety, extending the lead to 8-0.
