Campbellsville Elementary School is raising funds for a new playground.
In order to have playground equipment that is accessible to all children, including those with disabilities, CES has set a goal of $200,000 for the "We All Play" playground behind the school, according to Shirley Cox, chairperson.
"The school needs to have playground equipment that is handicap accessible and to enhance every child's ability to learn through play," Cox said.
CES students raised $5,000 in a Walk-a-Thon on May 22, Cox said.
