Taylor High School had its five-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday at Wayne County, but started another one Thursday at Barren County to improve its overall baseball record to 7-3.
The Cardinals ended last week with a 7-4 triumph over Caverna and a doubleheader sweep (11-1, 11-5) vs. Fairdale.
Tyler Cross started his nice streak by not allowing any runs in the last four innings vs. Caverna while Aylette Cowherd had three runs batted in and Matthew Johns two. Joel Hardesty contributed a two-safety game.
