Taylor County overcame a rare deficit to post its 11th baseball victory in as many tries with a 4-1 triumph at Cumberland County on Tuesday.
The Cardinals allowed a run despite not allowing  hit in the second frame.
Coach Jeff Gumm’s squad tallied three runs in the fifth as TCHS took advantage of four Panther errors.
The Cardinals added a seventh-inning insurance run as Daniel Carney had an RBI-double.
Dalton Brown earned his fourth pitching victory in as many starts with Noah Scott hurling the seventh.
Tyler Frogge had two of the Taylor County hits with the other four going to Carney, Justice Gregory, Hunter McQueary and Jack Miller.
The Cardinals visit Caverna today, Casey County tomorrow and Wayne County on Saturday before starting regular-season district action on Tuesday at Campbellsville.
