Taylor County High School celebrated Senior Night in style, posting a 55-12 football victory over Caverna on Friday.
Junior tailback Chris Thomas shared in the spotlight as well, breaking Tommy Prow's single-season rushing record on his first run of the game.
Needing only 11 yards to tie the record, Thomas went 47 yards to open the Cardinal scoring. Thomas added touchdown runs of 34 and 17 yards later in the contest and finished the night with 225 yards on 19 carries.
The first quarter saw the Cardinal defense stand firm and allow the offense to build a 21-0 lead.
