A Campbellsville woman allegedly shot herself with a gun after a standoff with Campbellsville Police officers.
According to a Campbellsville Police Department news release, officers responded on Sunday to 706 Cumberland Way after receiving a report that a woman at the home had a handgun.
When arriving at the scene, the report states, officers found that Marlene Bell was armed and refusing to comply with orders to surrender her weapon and exit the home.
Officers were able to safely remove a male from the home, though Bell continued the standoff with them.
