Katisha Wise, 20, of 216 Lincoln Avenue in Campbellsville pleaded guilty to two counts of reckless homicide in Marion County last month. The case originated from a two-vehicle collision in which two passengers in Wise's vehicle died.

Wise was indicted in September 2007 on two counts of second-degree manslaughter, DUI and possession of marijuana less than 8 ounces in connection with a fatal accident that occurred in Marion County.

She received five years of supervised pretrial diversion, but that is conditional on her admission to drug court.

The original charges stemmed from a collision that took place Oct. 25, 2006.

Wise was driving a 2002 Ford Taurus east on U.S. 68, about 6 miles east of Lebanon, according to the Kentucky State Police. She lost control of her vehicle, crossed the centerline and collided with a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by Patrick L. Brown of Lebanon.

Two of the three passengers in Wise's vehicle - Heather M. Garrett, 20, and Morgan E. Mason, 18, both of Lebanon - died as a result of the collision. Garrett was pronounced dead at the scene, and Mason was airlifted to University Hospital in Louisville, where she died as a result of her injuries.
