Campbellsville Schools honor academic achievers

Campbellsville Independent Schools recently announced its academic achievers for October. A boy and a girl from each school are named.

Those recognized include:

Campbellsville Elementary School

Riley Rainwater is a third-grade student at CES. She is the daughter of Andrea and Shawn Rainwater. Her favorite teacher is Shirley Cox and science is her favorite subject. She enjoys reading. Her future plans are to become a doctor.

Bailey Stearman is also a third-grade student at CES. He is the grandson of Sharon and Gary Hubbard. His favorite teacher is Shirley Cox and science is his favorite subject. He enjoys playing baseball and reading. His future plans are to become a police officer.

Campbellsville Middle School

Elizabeth Sullivan is a sixth-grade student at CMS. She is the daughter of Cheryl and Randell Sullivan. She enjoys cheerleading, academic team and playing the piano. Her favorite subject is social studies and Jan Speer is her favorite teacher. Her future plans are to attend the University of Kentucky and become a Doctor.

Payton Reynolds is also a sixth-grade student at CMS. He is the son of Josh Reynolds. He enjoys playing tennis, the academic team and BETA Club. Math is his favorite subject and Steven Gumm is his favorite teacher. His future plans are to attend college and succeed.

Campbellsville High School

Casey Sallee is a sophomore at CHS. She is the daughter of Sherry Graybeal and Jeff Sallee. She enjoys cheerleading and playing volleyball. She is a member of the BETA Club, FEA and student council. Geometry is her favorite subject and Cheryl Dicken is her favorite teacher. Her future plans are to attend college and continue cheerleading.

Dominique Allen is also a sophomore at CHS. He is the son of Sonja Hughes. He enjoys playing baseball and soccer. Integrated social studies is his favorite subject. His future plans are to attend college and become an architect.
