Campbellsville Independent Schools recently announced its academic achievers for October. A boy and a girl from each school are named.
Those recognized include:
Campbellsville Elementary School
Whitney Frashure is a third-grade student at CES. She is the daughter of Melanie Frayshure and the granddaughter of Barbara and William Feltner. Her favorite teacher is Marcia Sharp and reading is her favorite subject. She enjoys playing softball and soccer. Her future plans are to become a veterinarian.
Jadan Bates is also a third-grade student at CES. He is the son of Elizabeth Loveless and Leslie Clark. His favorite teacher is Marcia Sharp and science is his favorite subject. He enjoys playing baseball. His future plans are to become a professional baseball player.
Campbellsville Middle School
Anna Clara Moura is a fifth-grade student at CMS. She is the daughter of Saulo De-Almeida Moura and Juliana Moura. Her favorite subject is social studies. Her future plans are to attend Harvard and become a social studies teacher.
Alex Lofton is also a fifth-grade student at CMS. He is the son of Keith and Ronacka Lofton. He enjoys playing CMS basketball, student council and Beta. Math is his favorite subject and Joyce Dunlap is his favorite teacher. His future plans are to attend University of Louisville and be a MBA basketball player.
Campbellsville High School
Mallory Haley is a freshman at CHS. She is the daughter of Patty and Andy Haley. She likes all her classes and teachers. She enjoys swim, golf, choir and Beta. Her future plans are to graduate from high school, graduate from college in arts and science, then go to medical school and become an emergency room operator or an emergency room technician.
Ricky Smith-Cecil is also a freshman at CHS. He is the son of Cha-Cha Smith. He enjoys playing basketball, KYA and being Beta secretary. Social Studies is his favorite subject and Tyler Hardy is his favorite teacher. His future plans are to become a registered nurse.
