Campbellsville residents injured in U.S. 68 crash

Two Campbellsville residents were injured Saturday, Feb. 2, in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 68 eight miles west of Lebanon.

According to a Kentucky State Police news release, James K. Fox, 81, of Springfield, was traveling west on U.S. 68 in a 2003 Chrysler Van when he rear ended a 2006 Ford driven by Janice Mattingly, 52, of Campbellsville.

The report states that Mattingly was westbound and stopped in traffic attempting to make a left turn.

Fox and a passenger, David Hedges, 45, of Campbellsville, were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash and were treated and released at Taylor Regional Hospital.

Trooper Casey Wethington is investigating.
