Campbellsville Police investigating shooting on Carnation Street

One man was injured and flown to the University of Louisville Hospital

Campbellsville Police responded to a call of a shooting on Carnation Street Monday night.

According to a CPD report, officers responded to a call at 6:15 p.m. Monday night regarding a possible gunshot victim at 234 Carnation Street. When officers arrived, they discovered that 34-year-old Todd Brown had sustained a single gunshot wound.

The report states that Brown was transported from the scene by Campbellsville-Taylor County EMS to Taylor Regional Hospital and then transferred to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Although a motive is not known, according to the report, CPD is continuing an investigation into the incident and criminal charges are pending.
