Stephen Foster Productions and Salt River Electric will present the musical "Annie," and a Campbellsville native will be a part of the production.
This Tony award-winning musical with a story and songs that everyone knows is brand new to the Bardstown stage.
Artistic director Rick Dildine has put together a high-energy production.
A live band and more than 40 cast members - one of which is Reagan Pollock, the daughter of Michael "Sarge" and Susie Polluck of Campbellsville - will perform the story of an orphan and her dog Sandy who are placed in the lap of luxury as a publicity stunt for the wealthy Oliver Warbucks.
Annie's visit turns out to be more than anyone bargained for. She steals everyone's heart and teaches them all how to keep their chins up.
The show includes famous songs like "Tomorrow," "Maybe," "Easy Street" and "I Don't Need Anything But You."
Pollock plays the role of Duffy on select nights of the musical, including Aug. 14.
Tickets are $18 to $23 for adults, $10 to $12 for children with children age 5 and under free.
"Annie" will be performed Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights through Aug. 16 at 8:30 p.m.
