Campbellsville man sentenced to 15 years on burglary charges

A Campbellsville man has pleaded guilty and been sentenced to serve 15 years in prison on burglary charges.

Cedrick William Douglas, 22, of 615 Collins St. appeared before Taylor Circuit Court Judge Doughlas M. George on Monday, Feb. 4.

Douglas pleaded guilty in two separate cases to first-degree burglary and criminal attempt to commit second-degree burglary.

In exchange for his guilty plea, two counts of being a second-degree persistent felony offender were dismissed.

Douglas' sentence is to be served at the same time as a sentence for a Marion County conviction and another sentence he is currently serving.

Court records also list Douglas' address as 119 Beechland in Lebanon.

On George's Feb. 5 docket:

- Genia Fay aka Faye Sherill aka Genia Akin, 46, of 941 Summersville Road in Campbellsville pleaded guilty to possession of drug supplies, her second offense, and public intoxication of a controlled substance. A charge of being a second-degree persistent felony offender was dismissed.

Sherill was sentenced to a year's probation on the misdemeanor public intoxication charge. On the felony possession charge, the prosecutor has recommended that Sherill receive an additional three-year sentence and be ordered to complete drug court. Formal sentencing is set for March 18.

- Jeremy Akers, 24, and Megan Akers, 23, both of 1921 Old Ferrells Creek in Belcher, Ky. pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking more than $300. The Akers originally faced charges of third-degree burglary.

The Akers were each sentenced to two years' probation and ordered to forfeit property currently held as evidence.

- Troy E. Curry, 26, of 370 Rosewood Drive in Lebanon pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking more than $300 and first-degree criminal mischief. A charge of being a first-degree persistent felony offender was dismissed.

Curry was sentenced to serve a year in prison after he completes an Adair County sentence.

- Eric M. Edwards, 27, of 215 Davis St. in Campbellsville pleaded guilty to receiving more than $300 in stolen property.

The prosecutor has recommended that Edwards receive a four-year sentence. Formal sentencing is set for March 18.

- Joshua Alan Gabehart, 24, of 614 Lebanon Ave. in Campbellsville pleaded guilty to receiving more than $300 in stolen property.

Gabehart was granted a five-year pretrial diversion. If he fails the terms of his diversion, he will be sentenced to five years in prison. His case is set for review Feb. 5, 2013.

- Mandy L. Magers, 31, of 152 Russell Road, Apt. 2, in Campbellsville pleaded guilty to possession of drug supplies and possession of less than 8 ounces of marijuana. A first-degree selling cocaine charge was dismissed because, according to court records, prosecutors believed a search conducted in the case was questionable.

Magers was sentenced to two years' probation. Court records also list her address as 244 Pinewood Drive, Apt. 1, in Radcliff.

- Anthony Wiley Mikulin, 25, of 516 Lebanon Ave. in Campbellsville was sentenced to serve five years in prison on drug and other charges.

In December, Mikulin pleaded guilty in two separate cases to first-degree possession of cocaine, first-degree selling cocaine, possession of drug supplies, selling marijuana within 1,000 yards of a school, tampering with physical evidence, alcohol intoxication, having no insurance, failure to wear seat belts and failure to signal.

At that time, Mikulin was also sentenced to a year's probation on his misdemeanor charges. He was given credit for 404 days he has already served.

Court records also list his address as 70 Pickett Road, Apt. 4, in Campbellsville.

- Dennis Joseph Milby, 29, of 909 Hamilton St. in Campbellsville pleaded guilty to receiving more than $300 in stolen property.

The prosecutor has recommended that Milby receive a five-year sentence to be served at the same time as a Green County charge and be ordered to pay restitution. Formal sentencing is set for March 18.

- Justin Ryan Pearlman, 33, of 518 Wade Lane in Campbellsville was sentenced to five years' probation on burglary and theft charges.

Pearlman pleaded guilty in January to second-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking more than $300.

Pearlman's sentence is to be served at the same time as a Marion County sentence.

- Melwood Robinson, 42, of 2408 Mira Hill, Apt. C, in Lexington was sentenced to serve two years in prison for not paying child support.

Robinson pleaded guilty last September to flagrant non-support. A charge of being a first-degree persistent felony offender was dismissed.

Robinson was ordered to pay $7,545 in child support restitution he has not paid. He was given credit for 43 days he has already served.

Court records also list his address as 253 W. Main St. and 253 W. High St., both in Lebanon.

- Trent Waymon, 23, of 313 Taylor Blvd. in Campbellsville pleaded guilty to receiving more than $300 in stolen property.

The prosecutor has recommended that Waymon receive a three-year sentence. Formal sentencing is set for March 18.

Court records also list Waymon's address as 160 Joe Road in Lebanon.

- Robert "Bobby" Norman Caffee, 32, of 128 Sunset Drive in Campbellsville pleaded guilty to first-degree selling a meperidine narcotic.

The prosecutor has recommended that Caffee receive a five-year sentence and be ordered to pay $84 in restitution to the Campbellsville Police Department Drug Elimination Fund. Formal sentencing is set for March 18.
