A Campbellsville man has been arrested and charged with endangering a minor by not reporting that the minor had been sexually assaulted.

Link R. Biggs, 48, of 340 Ebenezer Road, was arrested Friday, April 12, at 4:49 p.m.

According to Biggs' arrest warrant, he allegedly knew that a minor had been sexually assaulted between Jan. 26 and March 22 and didn't report it or act on the information.

The warrant states that Biggs also continued to leave the minor with the alleged perpetrator, who is her primary caretaker.

Taylor County Sheriff's Deputy Mark Dickens investigated.

Biggs was charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, which is a misdemeanor offense.

He pleaded not guilty to the charge in Taylor District Court on Monday, April 15. Bond was set at $1,000 unsecured. He was ordered not have contact with the alleged victim.

Biggs is scheduled to appear in court again Monday, May 6, for a pretrial hearing.
