Caldwell promoted to Lieutenant Colonel

Major William Todd Caldwell, U.S. Air Force, was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel on Sept. 1.

He is stationed at Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, Calif., where he serves as deputy program manager for the space surveillance satellite system.

Caldwell is a 1989 graduate of Taylor County High School, a 1993 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, and received a master's degree in astronautical engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 1998.

The son of Tom and Julie Caldwell of Campbellsville, he is married to Cami Moss Caldwell, daughter of Hugh and Betty Moss, also of Campbellsville.

They are parents of four children - Emily, Sarah, Heath and Johnathan - and make their home in San Pedro, Calif.
