Brown plans to eventually teach, coach

Taylor County High School catcher Mikey Brown will continue calling the pitching signals after signing with Lindsey Wilson College on Wednesday morning.

"It's close to home and it seems to be like a good school to go to," Brown said of his decision to cast his lot with coach Mike Talley's Blue Raiders.

"I'll have to make the big adjustment going from high school to college," Brown reckoned of his toughest move to the Columbia NAIA school.

Brown wants to major in education and eventually teach history along with a coaching career.
