Taylor County High stopped a four-game losing skid with a 35-14 road triumph over Barren County on Friday.
Coach Eric Graves’ team executed his keys to the game almost to perfection. They set the tempo with a stout defense, scored first to get ahead, had only one turnover and had a balanced offensive attack — 210 yards on the ground and 205 in the air.
Hunter Christie and Daulton Turpin connected four times on the night for 140 yards and two first-half touchdowns to spot the Cardinals to 14-0 lead.
