For Campbellsville University, making its first trip to the NAIA World Series, baseball has been a game of lost opportunities since it arrived in Lewiston, Idaho.

The Tigers left 21 base runners stranded in two games (13 on Saturday) and lost 6-5 to Southern Poly State (Ga.). The loss bumped the Tigers from the tournament and Southern Poly won its first-ever World Series game in its third trip to Lewiston.

Campbellsville led 2-1 and 4-3 but left five runners on base in the last three innings while trying to rally against the Hornets.
