BPW supports Allen for mayor

-A A +A
By The Staff

In about two weeks, we will have the privilege and responsibility to vote for local, state and federal candidates. The members of Campbellsville Business and Professional Women once again enthusiastically endorse and support the re-election of Mayor Brenda Allen, a proven leader. Her record of service to the city and its citizens for the last eight years is evidence of her exceptional leadership.

Allen has established professional networks at the state and federal levels that have resulted in Campbellsville receiving $22 million in grants to improve numerous city services. City streets have been repaired and repaved, sewer and water systems have expanded to serve more citizens, the city park and downtown have been improved to compliment the new county courthouse square and fire and police departments have updated and bring better safety and security to Campbellsville's neighborhoods.

Her relationships with state transportation and other officials resulted in widening of KY 210 and Ky 55 with new traffic lights to help traffic flow for the future. New restaurants, businesses and jobs have come to Campbellsville during her tenure.

Allen's leadership has been a cooperative effort with many in the community and has been achieved in a professional atmosphere of hard work and Christian ethics. As a public servant and elected official, she has brought to the office a desire to serve the city in the most efficient and effective manner possible while emphasizing her personal desire to help others.

As members of Campbellsville's Business and Professional Women, we are proud and honored to endorse Brenda Allen for mayor in November.
