Bluegrass Cellular has launched a text-only service plan for customers who, because of a disability, are unable to communicate over a voice network.
The new service plan is now available and provides text-only access to Bluegrass Cellular's nationwide service network. The new plan will offer unlimited text messaging for $20 per month on select devices. Any voice minutes will be billed at a rate of 10 cents per minute. A certification of disability will be required to be eligible for the text-only service.
"We are pleased to offer a cost efficient text-only option for individuals in our communities that are hearing impaired," stated Barry Nothstine, Bluegrass Cellular vice president of sales and marketing. "This new service plan is part of our ongoing efforts to treat customers like good friends and offer products and services to meet their diverse needs."
More information about the text-only service plan is available at www.bluegrasscellular.com or at one of the company's 21 customer care centers in Kentucky.
