Belhaven (Miss.) College raced out to a 28-0 first-half lead and rolled to a 48-20 triumph over visiting Campbellsville University on Saturday afternoon in Jackson, Miss.
The Tigers did score three second-half touchdowns and accumulated 394 total yards, 244 on the ground.
Greg Fountain started the CU scoring with a 79-yard run and surpassed the 1,000-yard rushing plateau.
In the fourth quarter, Detrick Briggs tallied on a two-yard run and Geoffrey James scored from 17 yards out with 52 seconds left in the Mid-South Conference contest.
