Several Taylor County residents have reported receiving automated calls claiming to represent one of several local banks.
According to Campbellsville/Taylor County E-911 Supervisor Anne Sanders, 911 operators have fielded several calls from concerned residents. She said those who have received the calls should contact their bank.
The calls are similar to those that hit the county in August in which residents received a pre-recorded message warning about a problem with their bank account and asking them to call a phone number.
