Adair County used a 14-0 run after the game was tied at 6-6 and downed the visiting Campbellsville High School Lady Eagles 63-56 on Friday night.
Coach Cameron Jackson's club fought back to within six (36-30) on a three-point play by Ashyya Robinson in the third quarter and were within seven (60-53) with 1:04 left in the game after Bronte Karr's block jumper from a pass by Amber Gamboa.
Freshman Tiffany Slone, who hit four first-half treys, led Campbellsville with 22 points while seniors Gamboa had nine and Karr and Danielle Morris eight apiece.
Chelsea Beach and Katie Keltner had 15 points each for the Lady Indians and McKenzie Martin 12.
The two teams will meet again in the first round of the 20th District Tournament on Feb. 24 in Columbia.
On Wednesday, the Lady Eagles downed Washington County in a make-up game on the road 53-41.
CHS led 29-15 at the half but had to use a 16-7 fourth frame after the Commanderettes won the third period 19-8 to creep within 37-34.
Morris paced the Lady Eagles with 21 points, including 14-16 from the charity stripe, and eighth-grader Brittany Vaught had 12 and Slone nine.
Campbellsville hosts KSD tomorrow and Washington County on Saturday.
