In an election with little local flavor, some voters will have at least one additional county race to consider in November.
A special election for 4th District magistrate will take place during the General Election on Nov. 4, Taylor County Clerk Mark Carney said.
"This is a special election to fill the unexpired term of Marshall Caulk," Carney said.
Caulk resigned in March, citing health concerns. His term expires in 2010.
The 4th District is made up of the Elk Horn-Yuma, Ireland/Irene-Romine and New South areas.
