Do you love to sing or play the piano? Do you play an instrument or perform gymnastics? The 4-H Variety Show is your time to shine.
Everyone has some talent that they can showcase in the 4-H talent show. The contest is open to all youth ages 5-18 who live in Taylor County.
The talent show is scheduled for Friday, April 11 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Ransdell Chapel at Campbellsville University.
A piano will be provided. You must bring any other instruments or props you will use for your act. Microphones and a CD and tape player will also be available for your use. Bring any tapes or CDs you need. You are allowed one adult to accompany your act, if you wish.
There are a few rules each participant needs to follow. For specialty acts, the time limit is four minutes. For club acts, the time limit is eight minutes. Specialty acts include one to four members and club acts include more than four members.
Participants will be judged and everyone will receive a ribbon. Two acts will be selected to advance to the area competition, which will take place on Saturday, May 3. All talent show acts must pre-register by Thursday, April 10. You may register by calling 465-4511.
