Behind the pitching of freshman Kenzi Forbis, the Campbellsville Lady Eagles picked up a pair of wins last week.
Forbis struck out 11 in their 1-0, eight-inning win over 5th Region foe Thomas Nelson on Thursday on the heels of a seven-strikeout night in an 11-4 win over 20th District nemesis Adair County on April 10.
Forbis was one walk and a hit away from a perfect game against the Generals.

With the change to a new three-game series between 20th District members Campbellsville, Taylor County, Adair County and Marion County, getting off to a great start in district play is imperative this season.

The Taylor County Cardinals went 2-2 this week, picking up a pair of wins in the Louisville Valley Invitational Tournament and dropping two in the Green County Wooden Bat Classic.
Taylor County beat Graves County, 10-3 on Tuesday and Louisville Holy Cross, 7-3 on Monday at Valley. The Cardinals (6-2) will play in the tournament final today, against an opponent yet to be determined by Wednesday morning.
