Lil' Dribblers offer new spin on basketball
A new team at Campbellsville Elementary - the ladies in pink - has been causing lots of excitement.
They are the CES Lil' Dribblers with pink and white basketballs, pink and white star socks and hair bows to match. They do an exhibition of ball handling drills and throw in a little gymnastics to spice it up.
The Lil' Dribblers involve girls from preschool age to fourth grade. They have performed at several basketball games and school assemblies, putting on a show for the crowd.

Rowell named a dean's scholar at WKU
Larry Rowell of Campbellsville has achieved the designation of dean's scholar at Western Kentucky University for the fall 2007 semester.
This honor is given to those students who earn a grade point average ranging from 3.4 to 3.79.
Rowell is a writer for the College Heights Herald.

CHS basketball homecoming court
Campbellsville High School's basketball homecoming will take place tomorrow when its girls' and boys' teams host Adair County. The 2008 Basketball Sweetheart ceremony is scheduled to take place at halftime of the boys' game (the second game). KCS hosts exchange student
Alina Stamm is an exchange student from Luzern, Switzerland who is currently attending Campbellsville High School. Stamm was presented with a gift from Kentucky Christian School - red, white and blue ornaments for her Christmas tree once she returns home. Her host family are Steve and Patti Phillips.
